The Role

We are currently seeking a graduate (or candidate with 1-2 years’ experience) to join our Software Development team as a Junior.NET Developer.

Reporting to the Development Manager, you will be required to be involved hands-on in the software design and technical development process of key projects whilst being mentored by a Senior Developer. You will receive regular appraisals to track your technical and personal development. You will gain commercial experience of Microsoft web development technologies and building ecommerce websites and browser based applications

Skills Required:

  • A 2:1 science based degree (or equivalent) OR significant programming experience
  • An awareness of MVC, ASP.NET, C#
  • An awareness of MS SQL and able to demonstrate ability to write T-SQL
  • An awareness of JavaScript, DHTML, CSS and XML techniques
  • An awareness of AJAX, JSON and XML Web Services

Skills Desired:

  • Experience of SQL Server and proven T-SQL skills including stored procedures
  • Experience of Unit Testing (TDD, MOQ frameworks)
  • Experience of ecommerce
