Stones4Homes is a friendly Yorkshire based company specialising in the supply of decorative aggregates and building supplies. The company was formed in 2009 from a small base near Selby. The company’s range of decorative aggregates includes slate, gravels, chippings, pebbles and cobbles, top soil and bark products for the general public and trade. The company pride themselves on quality, availability and customer satisfaction.

The Challenge

The company was looking for a fresh up-to-date design to reflect their more prominent position within the marketplace, and added functionality to ensure they would be able to handle the large number of orders taken via their site and over the telephone.

Having initially focused on driving customer traffic from the local area to their former site, the next challenge was to improve the rate of conversion from visitors nationwide.

The site features a Mail Order Telephone Order (MOTO) console, ensuring the company’s call centre staff can process telephone orders quickly and efficiently using the same web console as online orders.
