PureNet, the specialist Yorkshire-based ecommerce agency has scooped a prestigious IT Europa award after winning Vertical Market Solution of the Year at the IT Europa European Software Excellence Awards 2015.
PureNet’s Chief Executive, Paul Gibson, and Sales and Marketing Director, Paul Doherty, represented the leading Yorkshire-based agency alongside an audience of over 350 from leading businesses around Europe – a total of 83 companies from 32 European countries made the final shortlist. The award was presented by no other than Gyles Brandreth at an outstanding gala event held at the London Lancaster Hotel.
The solution that won the award was an online self-service portal designed and built by PureNet for client Albany Assistance. The solution picked up the award due to its use of leading edge technology to give Albany Assistance a business advantage.
PureNet provided extensive user logging and tracking interfaces allowing a transparent and demonstrable record of user-activity from login to conclusion. Additionally, the portal had to be easy to use. The user experience needed to be highly intuitive and make complex actions straightforward.
Dr Paul Gibson, said: “It is an honour to have won our fifth IT Europa Award and we are thrilled that our Albany Assistance portal solution has been recognised in this fantastic way. We are extremely proud to represent the talent of our Yorkshire-based team to a European audience. This award is a huge testament to the hard work and commitment of the whole PureNet and Albany teams”.
Albany Assistance IT Services Director, Andrew Langford said: “In developing the portal we aimed to provide a high quality experience which improved the customer journey. Our customer feedback has overwhelmingly confirmed we achieved this, so it’s really the icing on the cake to receive recognition from industry specialists”.
