Despite the fears that the UK economy is heading for a downturn PureNet, the York based e-commerce solutions specialist, is on target to achieving its turnover for 2008. With a successful first quarter its predicted £600,000 turnover target is well within sights.
“Our success has been driven by retailers and manufacturers needing to further exploit the full potential of web solutions as more and more people turn to buying online”, said Dr. Paul Gibson, Managing Director, PureNet.
This growth in the business has lead to the opening of a new headquarters at St. John's House on the York Science Park. The new office will provide valuable space for the future expansion of the company.
PureNet has also appointed David Miller as the new Chairman to its board. David is a well-known successful entrepreneur within the York region having owned a number of businesses including Hotels, Tour Operators, Computer Software Design and Development. David’s focus will be to help guide PureNet through its expansion plans over the next 3 years.
PureNet has also been short listed for an award at the forthcoming Yorkshire Digital awards to be held on the 8th May.
“This has been an extremely good start to the year for PureNet. With David joining the team and the opening of the new office we are poised to grow the business even further”, said Paul.
