Whilst the company had an online presence showing their product range their website was non-transactional. The company recognised that it was important to offer their products for purchase online to increase their potential revenue and compete with some of its rivals. The challenge set for PureNet was to guide QS through the development of their new online store and help the company setup processes to manage the fulfilment of orders from their new warehouse.
The comprehensive online store was built using PureNet’s scalable and flexible e-commerce platform, WebPOS 2.0, providing functionality to manage products, promotions, orders, pick lists, stock, returns and payments. The inbuilt Web Tracking and Site Metrics tools allow QS to track visitor numbers, visitor paths, orders taken and various trends to help them understand the behaviour of their customers.
The solution integrates directly into their retail management system, Mercatus, to maintain stock and financial data integrity.
The project, like all PureNet’s projects, was consultancy led, guiding QS through the steps of implementing a robust end-to-end ecommerce solution from web design to warehouse logistics and back-office integration.
The e-commerce solution allows QS to effectively compete online and increase its potential revenue. PureNet’s experience in delivering online solutions and providing expertise in back-office fulfilment meant the project was implemented within budget and in-time for the Christmas rush.
