PureNet shortlisted for Digital Business of the Year Award

PureNet is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted for ‘Digital Business of the Year’ in the Digital Entrepreneur Awards 2013.

We have received recognition for our work on a number of large projects recently completed by the company including work with Poundworld, West Bromwich Albion Football Club and West Ham United Football Club.

Our ambitious digital marketing campaign for high street retailer Poundworld achieved some impressive results in an extremely competitive marketplace. Poundworld is now ranked number one on Google for a number of relevant keywords and every £1 spent on digital marketing generates £25 in revenue.

We provided a re-design of the West Bromwich Albion Football Club website to ensure it reflected the club’s tradition and history but at the same time served as a high conversion eCommerce website. The platform allows staff from the retail and marketing teams to easily update the site without involving their internal IT teams. The web store replaced West Bromwich Albion’s existing eCommerce site and year on year sales have increased by over 53% since the new site went live in October 2012.

After working with PureNet, West Ham United FC reported similar results. Following go live the football club immediately achieved an uplift of over 47% despite the fact West Ham were relegated. The following season saw even greater increases with some startling results. Website conversion increased by 129% and website transactions rose by 109%. Website revenue grew by 211% and the value of orders increased by 49%.

The Digital Entrepreneur Awards are the UK’s only national awards dedicated to internet entrepreneurialism and celebrate the best of a rapidly growing industry.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the Grand Hilton Manchester on the 10th October.
