Green-tech is one of the UK’s leading landscaping, grounds maintenance, forestry and agriculture suppliers offering a host of products designed to enhance and improve plants and their environment.

Formed in 1994, Green-tech has expanded from humble beginnings supplying the Yorkshire golf course market, to new markets including professional growers and garden centre retail markets.

The company now employ a 40-strong team and occupy a 30,000 sq. ft. warehouse near York

The Challenge

Green-tech’s existing eCommerce solution offered limited flexibility to help drive the business forward. Following an analysis of the site, it was apparent there were serious flaws with the usability of the site including slow performance, unintuitive navigation and layout resulting in poor sales conversion.

Green-tech required a complete replacement for their existing site with a comprehensive, easy to manage solution that would allow for rapid updates and flexibility to enhance Green-tech’s offering.

Green-tech’s website at has allowed the company to introduce additional features in their website such as a new filter system that allows members to search for a particular type of product or select individual products via the site’s intuitive and easily navigable structure.
