The Client

Mitre Prostar has a strong sportswear heritage of over 100 years, from supplying HM Forces in the First World War to a number of top rugby and football teams, as well as the UK Police and Fire and Rescue Services today. Renowned for exceptional quality and value, Mitre Prostar’s knowledge and understanding of garment technology has enabled the company to create a unique sportswear offering.

The Challenge

The challenge for Mitre Prostar was to relaunch multiple websites, including the company’s main sportswear site and police force and fire service sites, on a new platform that enabled easy administration of content, catalogue, promotion and merchandising.

Mitre Prostar was looking to elevate the look and feel of their brand online to mirror their market-leading status, and required an integrated solution with their back-end warehousing system to automate the order process.

What We Did

Mitre Prostar’s multi-site B2C eCommerce solution, built on PureNet’s award winning eCommerce software platform further strengthens the company’s market leading status. The sites support the company’s stockists in promoting and ordering Mitre Prostar kit and give potential buyers an easy to use, quick to navigate and efficient way to purchase via the company’s stockist network.

All of Mitre Prostar’s sites include a powerful ‘kit visualiser’ to allow customers to create, view and customise garments then personalise them with name, number, club badges and sponsor logos before proceeding to get a quote for the kit.

A stockist locator, powered by Google Maps is provided which shows details of stockists and enables results relative to the customer’s location.

Additionally, the solution is integrated into the company’s Microsoft Dynamics NAV Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to enable inventory management, order fulfilment and on-demand manufacturing.
